Chief Marty Pilcher | 

MARTY PILCHER has been a law enforcement officer since 1988 and serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Woodburn, Oregon, having been hired as Deputy Chief on February 27, 2017 and sworn in as Chief on October 11, 2021. 

Chief Pilcher served 28 years as a police officer in California, retiring as a Lieutenant of the Elk Grove Police Department. During his career, Chief Pilcher has served in a wide variety of assignments including Patrol, Investigations, Traffic, and SWAT.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Sacramento and a Master of Science Degree from Norwich University. He is a graduate of California Peace Officer Standards and Training Command College Class 48 and the Police Executive Research Forum, Senior Management Institute for Police Class 52.
