Food and Housing
AWARE Food Bank: Food assistance available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m.-noon. They are also open the first and third Tuesday of the month from 3:30-6 p.m.
Neighbors Day Center: Open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Day center offering housing information, snacks, coffee, water, and lunch from noon to 1:45 p.m. Open as an overnight warming center when the temperature is below 37 degrees.
Farmworker Housing Development Corporation: Farmworker housing assistance.
The ARCHES Project: Financial help with rent and housing and help navigating resources. Snack and hygiene items available.
St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank: Food bank open the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Department of Human Services SNAP (Food Stamps): Apply for food assistance in person or online.
Grab & Go Dinner at Immanuel Lutheran Church: Dinner every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00.
Medical & Mental Health
Marion County Health Department: Mental health, drug and alcohol treatment, help applying for Oregon Health Plan, bilingual therapists, immunizations, family planning, and WIC information.
Salud Medical Center: Family medicine, women’s health, dentistry, and health care coverage assistance.
Options Counseling and Family Services: Therapy, psychiatry and case management. Family support services.
Legal Aid
Oregon Law Center (Woodburn Farmworkers Office): Assistance with legal issues, focusing on employment related issues.
Centro De Servicios Para Campesinos: Legal help and representation for immigration issues, help with forms and translations.
Voz Hispana Cambio Comunitario: Assistance with filling out legal forms, translations, and legal assistance.
Childcare & Family
Oregon Child Development Coalition: Early childhood education for infants through age 5.
Boys & Girls Club: Woodburn Teen Center: After school programs and activities for students in grades 6-12.
Woodburn Family Learning Center: Non-profit childcare offering part-time and full-time options.
Family Building Blocks: Offers support, education, therapeutic classrooms, and other resources for families.
Employment
WorkSource Oregon: Job application assistance, skills training, and internet access.
Direct Labor Inc: Connects job seekers with temporary employment in food processing, construction,agriculture, and landscaping.
Interface Network: Provides youth and young adults with job readiness training, work experience/internships,financial literacy, and life skills.
Goodwill Job Connection: One-on-one personalized job assistance and training.
JobCorps: Free, residential education and job training program for young adults ages 16–24. Offers
career training and high school completion options.
