Business Registration
All businesses operating within the Woodburn city limits must obtain a Business Registration Certificate.
You can View the Business Registration Ordinance here: Municipal Code Chapter 8-11. Registration applications are available by downloading the
Business Registration License form (Bilingüe), or at the Finance
counter at City Hall (270 Montgomery Street). If you have any questions about Business
Registrations that are not answered below, please call the Finance Department at (503)982-5215.
The fee for home occupation businesses is $25 per year. The fee for all other Businesses is $50 per year & transfers
of ownership must be accompanied by a $20 fee. The annual registration fee must be paid at the Finance counter upon the
filing of the application for a new business registration certificate, or upon the annual renewal of the Registration on
the one year anniversary date of the original application. Applications, renewals, and fees may also be sent by mail to
the Finance Department (270 Montgomery Street, Woodburn Oregon 97071). Failure to submit applications by the required
dates will subject the applicant to a delinquency charge.
For Change of Address, Change of Ownership, or Change of business location, please use the same form (Business Registration License form above) and check the appropriate checkbox. Submit to the City as soon as possible. Business owners are responsible for updating the Finance Department staff of any changes in mailing addresses, business
location, or other pertinent information.
Businesses engaged in food services must present proof of a current
Marion County Health Department Oregon - Food Handlers Card before the Business Registration will be issued.
