The City of Woodburn is currently seeking applications for a part-time (approximately 20 hours per week), position with the Woodburn Public Works Urban Services and Transit Division (Transit Section). This position operates a transit bus on a fixed scheduled route or a para-transit van on a varied route based on elderly and disabled transportation needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Under the general supervision of the Public Works Manager, this classification drives a transit bus or para-transit van to transport riders to and from locations within the City. As a transit bus driver, this includes making scheduled stops at locations listed in a published time schedule whereas, as a para-transit van driver, riders are picked up and delivered from their homes to various shopping centers, medical offices, and private and public facilities within the City.
