Ward III Description

Ward III encompasses the area North of Harrison St between N Settlemier Ave and N Front St to State Highway 214 then East to State Highway 99 E and continuing East to the City Limits; the area West of State Highway 99 E to Carl Rd (Northern City Limits) then West along Northern City Limits from Carl Rd to N Boones Ferry Rd; South on N Boones Ferry Rd/ N Settlemier Ave to Harrison St.

Background:

Pete McCallum was born in Puyallup, Washington and has lived in Oregon since 1950. He received a BA (History) and MEd from Linfield College and his educational administrative certificate from the University of Oregon.

After completing an internship at Tigard High School, he spent six years as a teacher at Woodburn High School, 17 years as Woodburn High School Principal and nine years as Personnel Director for the Woodburn School District. Pete retired in 1998.

Pete and wife Ila raised two children in Woodburn. Both children graduated from Woodburn High School.
