New Woodburn Police Chief Jim Ferraris will be officially sworn in as Woodburn's police chief at Monday's meeting of the Woodburn City Council.

Woodburn Man Crashes into Domino's, Injures 1

A Domino’s Pizza employees was injured after a car crashed into the pizza chain Tuesday morning at 383 Highway 99E in Woodburn.

The driver of the vehicle, Anselmo Ramirez Salazar, 18, Woodburn, was southbound on Highway 99E when he lost control of his vehicle and hydro-planed into Domino’s, striking Diana Rubio, 18.

Rubio was transported by ambulance to Silverton Hospital for evaluation and later discharged.

City Selects Jim Ferraris as its Next Chief of Police

The City of Woodburn is excited to announce it has chosen Jim Ferraris as its next Chief of Police after a long and extensive process.

Municipal Court Judge Janice Zyrynoff to Retire

After 34 years, Woodburn Municipal Court Judge Janice Zyrynoff is retiring. She started as a judge in March of 1981 here in Woodburn and retiring is bittersweet.
