Youth Services staff promote early childhood literacy and a love of reading through fun programs, books, and homework help for our youngest patrons.
Storytimes and Regularly Scheduled Programs
Children at library storytimes have fun, make new friends and get practice in skills they will need later when they learn to read. Storytimes are a great bonding activity for children and their caregivers. Each storytime is targeted for a specific age-group but siblings of any age are always welcome. All storytimes occur in the family activity area of the Youth Services room.
Consult the Calendar of Events for Children for more information.
You and your children are welcome in the library, and we hope to see you soon. Please review the library's Child Patron and Youth Services Program Policies, which exist to help ensure your library visit is safe, productive, and a lot of fun.
